"3" 's founding members are Taneda Natsuko on vocals and keyboards, Hamuro Tetsuyuki on percussion, Tomita Chikara on bass and Suzuki Ayako on drums.

Until their meeting they have been individually active in various events and bands.

Taneda Natsuko on vocals and keys on Earth Day Sapporo in 2007, Good Vibes Life and many more; percussionist Hamuro Tetsuyuki was involved in the percussion band "Oiseau" and toured through many clubs; Tomita Chikara was on bass in the band "Shogun Asashin" when they all met Suzuki Ayako who is now playing drums in "3". Their live debut, dedicated to their love for music, presented "3" in terms of improvisation as strong and feeling-wise pure music-loving band.
